We all attended many official functions at embassies in both BA and Montevideo, but Daddy went to the most.

Within a month of arriving in Buenos Aires, we were sent to St Andrew’s Scots School in Olivos, a wealthy suburb of BA. Because of our long hair, platform shoes, kipper ties and the fact that we were British, we became somewhat of a novelty.

I believe we left Genoa in October of 1974, but I can’t remember the exact date.
“Serve And Obey”, enough said.
Notice the the subtle change in both attire and attitude from 72 to 74, where I served obediently for three years. Let out for good behaviour in July 1974.

I think we moved to Rhu around 1969, but can’t be sure. I do remember watching the Moon landing in Rhu.
I’ll never forget being beaten to the Victor Ludorum by Sarah Coates and never fully recovered.
